Lucas is a French-Italian designer with a lifelong love for the ocean. Eighteen months ago, he combined this passion with his interest in cinema and began exploring underwater filmmaking. He gradually taught himself the craft—experimenting with filming, editing, and visual storytelling—driven by deep curiosity and a commitment to learning through doing. Working solo and without a budget, he has created short films that blend poetic storytelling with visually striking cinematography.
His work goes beyond simply capturing the underwater world; through a mix of imagery and narration, he explores deeper themes of wonder, connection, and introspection. Each film is an invitation for the viewer to reflect—not just on the beauty of the ocean but on broader, universal emotions and ideas.
Despite the challenges of working independently, his dedication has led to recognition at film festivals, a milestone that motivates him to keep pushing creative boundaries. Through his films, Lucas hopes to inspire a deeper connection with nature and a renewed sense of awe for our blue planet.
In parallel with his personal projects, Lucas is also available for professional collaborations in the fields of documentary, television, and cinematic productions. With a strong visual signature, technical independence, and field experience across multiple countries, he brings a unique blend of artistic sensitivity and on-location reliability to underwater storytelling.
